ANNOUNCEMENT
YOU'VE ASKED
... AND, WE LISTENED!
MORE LIVE &
LOCAL TALK COMES TO
1020 WIBG RADIO
... EFFECTIVE
SATURDAY,
FEBRUARY 23, 2008
It is my
pleasure on behalf of Rick & Nancy Brancadora to make the official
announcement that we are expanding our "Live and Local" presence here at 1020
WIBG Radio.
Effective,
Saturday, February 23, 2008 ... we have two new local broadcasters, who will
serve as our lead-off hitters and start your Saturdays here at 1020
WIBG radio.
I have known
both of these men for many years.
It was my
pleasure a number of years ago to personally start each of their
broadcasting careers at another local radio station.
They went on to
have success at another local radio station for several
years. The
two are well known to Metro Market listeners. They compliment each other very
well. They have a great deal of fun as broadcasters and that infectious
enthusiasm extends to their listeners.
They have
established a loyal following ... and, based upon my recommendation to Rick and
Nancy ... we agreed that they fit in perfectly with our "Live & Local" 1020
WIBG Radio philosophy ... of delivering quality local programming, and keeping
it family friendly.
Please join
with me, in celebrating a reunion for me ... as Saturday, February 13, 2008
... Dr. Barry Levine and Champ Hoffman will
debut "Barry & The Champ" here on 1020 WIBG
Radio.
These solid
additions to our "Live & Local" Broadcast Team continues to demonstrate that
1020 WIBG Radio is the place to be for real local talk radio, the way it is
suppose to be.
Gennijng,
February 23, 2008 ... Our new Saturday "Live & Local
Team Line-up" will be:
"Barry &
The Champ from 8am to 10am
The Betson
Connection from 10am to 1pm
Dan Klein's
South Jersey Insider from 1pm to 4pm
There is not a
Saturday line-up in the Metro Market to compare to our 1020 WIBG Radio "Live
& Local Team."
And, this is
not just an announcement here this morning ... In our studio right now
are "Barry & The Champ" for their first live appearance on 1020 WIBG Radio on "Hurley in the
Morning".
