SCOTT EVANS
POLITICAL
MOVES ABOUT TO UNFOLD
Get ready ...
Several political moves in the works for Evans. City Council may block most, if
not all of it.
Well placed sources
have confirmed to us that Evans wants to hire attorney Phil George from the
Bernstein law firm for
$ 350,000
contract.
It should be noted
that Atlantic City presently has 8 attorney's on staff, ranging from
$ 80,000 to $ 88,000
each. This would be on top of that.
Additionally, our
sources have confirmed that Evans wants to hire Tim Mooney back as Director of
Neighborhood Services, effective Monday, December 10, 2007.
The only problem
with this move is that it requires City Council approval first.
Evans has already
advised the current Director, Anthony Cox that he is out, in favor of
Mooney.
Council President
Marsh and other members of City Council is adamantly against bringing Mooney
back.
Additionally, our
well placed sources have advised that Evans wants to hire Joyce Mollineaux to a
new position at the All Wars Memorial Building at an increased
salary.
It is clear to see
that Evans simply cannot break ties with his Craig Callaway past.
Developing, in
a disturbing manner.
