TO FILL SEAT
level of disloyalty in Atlantic City is
Nothing surprises me
This is meant to be no
disrespect to Gina Holmes. I have never met Gina Holmes. I have never heard the
name Gina Holmes before.
I do know this much
... When Don Hurley, Pierre Hollingsworth, Iris Hernandez, Bobby Turner, JoAnn
Daley, Warren Massey and a few others were busy working so hard to prevent Craig
Callaway from grabbing control of the Board of Education ... I never heard of
Gina Holmes being any where whatsoever in this important fight.
It appears that her
claim to fame is that she stepped aside in favor of John Devlin, when John
earned a well deserved reappointment back on the Board last year. John is as
hard-working as they come.
But, I am also
disappointed in John on this one.
How soon some people
forget. In fact, it was Don Hurley, who pulled cash from his own pocket to file
the formal appeal for Shay Steele ... and submitted Steele's brief with only a
few minutes to spare ... or, Callaway would have gained control of the
Board because the appeal is the only thing that kept Callaway from grabbing
hold of the only City function that he failed to gain control of, during his
reign of terror and crime.
To this day, Don has
not been properly thanked for his supreme efforts.
A very established and
hard-working candidate had been identified ... and, she had the support of many
of the real hard-working Atlantic City residents. I'll call them the real doers,
who actually make good things happen.
This is just the
latest example as to why I rarely endorse any candidates any more. These disloyal people are simply not worth it and they do not
deserve my consideration.
It's not just what
they did tonight ... It's how they did it. They showed disrespect to a very good
person, who deserved better.
I will not be
supporting any of those responsible for this again in the future.
communication all the way around on this one.
