There is so
much going on under the surface ...
As usual,
let me be the first to break the news that the rest of the local media will be
ripping off from me in the very near future.
First, very
well placed sources have confirmed that outgoing Atlantic County Sheriff Jim
McGettigan is set to hire the Reverend Reginald Floyd as Under
Sheriff?
Does this
seem as strange and unwarranted to you as it does to me?
McGettigan
is said to be desperate and in sheer panic over his looming re-election
year ahead.
Atlantic
County Democratic candidates don't even want to run with McGettigan, following
his disastrous run for County Executive.
People in
line for this Under Sheriff position are said to be furious about
McGettigan's scheme.
Additionally, a Primary battle for McGettigan appears certain at
this time.
I will
release the name of the would-be McGettigan challenger in the very near
future.
Second,
soon-to-be former Freeholder Joe Kelly wants to run again. Atlantic County
Democratic leaders do not want this.
