RE:  FAMILY COMMUNITY DAY ..... SUNDAY, JUNE 3rd, 20007.....Ventnor City, NJ  
 
The Breakfast event was well attended by the residents of Ventnor.
 
Local Radio Personality Pinky Kravitz, a resident of Ventnor, graciously offered to be the master of ceremonies and introduced Ventnor City's Mayor Tim Kriescher who presented CSURE Children’s Park, Inc. a proclamation...Proclaiming the CSURE Children's Playground Project as Ventnor City's 
official FAMILY COMMUNITY PROJECT FOR THE SUMMER OF 2007.

Also in attendance: Commissioners Sandy Vespertino, Joseph Schafer,                                    Congressman Frank LoBiondo,  Atlantic County Exec. Dennis Levinson,                                                  State Assemblyman Jim Whelan, Claire Sabatini President of the Rotory attended.

Joseph and Arlene Verne of Ventnor presented, in the name of the Verne Family, their generous commitment check for $100,000 to help build the playground .

Dr. Herb & Barbara Cahan gave gift of the locally popular authentic Totem Pole that was on their lawn for many years, to be reject in the CSURE playground.

Debra Kavky, a face painting artist, gave many of the children that attended a new look. Mrs. Kavky has an autistic child and knows how hard it is to find a playground that can accommodate her child's needs. CSURE's playground will accommodate all children's needs and abilities.

Lisa Savage of the new “SAGE” restaurant in Ventnor sponsored the Breakfast.

Dr. & Clara Glass and their daughter attended the event. Mrs. Glass is the current Fundraising Coordinator  of CSURE. She can be contacted at 609-335-3512

The entire project will cost $375,000.  The money will be raised by private donations and by having fundraising events and NOT by Ventnor City tax dollars.
