Freeholder Alisa Cooper - To Be Guest Soloist at 57th Annual N.J.A.C. Conference
Alisa Cooper, Atlantic County Freeholder-at-Large, will be the featured soloist at the 57th Annual N.J.A.C. Conference (New Jersey Association of Counties) scheduled for June 12 - 15th, 2007 at the Tropicana Casino Hotel in Atlantic City. The N.J.A.C. Annual Presidential Awards Luncheon is scheduled for June 14th and at that time, Cooper has been invited to sing “God Bless America.”
Elected in 2005, Miss Cooper is currently serving her first term on the Atlantic County Board of Chosen Freeholders and serves on the following Freeholder Committees: County Code Review, Human Services, Jail Committee, Land Development Standards, Meadowview Review and Public Health and Environment. She is the Freeholder Representative to the Tourism Advisory Board and The Workforce Investment Board.
Cooper is a graduate of the University of Maryland from which she holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education. She is the owner of "Alisa Cooper Orchestras", a music and entertainment agency and is also a music educator in the Egg Harbor Township School District. Throughout her career as an entertainer and educator, she has been the recipient of numerous awards for her charitable activities as she has generously volunteered her time, her energy and talents for many causes and organizations in New Jersey. Cooper is also known through out Atlantic County for her community involvement and is a member of numerous civic, professional and religious organizations. She resides in Linwood, with her husband Doug Little, and their son, David Cooper Little.
