TWO PLEASANTVILLE SOURCES CONFIRM THAT BOARD OF EDUCATION PRESIDENT JAMES PRESSLEY WAS INVOLVED IN A CAR CRASH ...
 
AND, THAT ALCOHOL WAS INVOLVED.
 
Our sources report that Pressley was involved in a motor vehicle crash this morning (Sunday, June 16, 2007) at approximately  4:30 a.m., at New Road and the Black Horse Pike.
He reportedly was traveling South on New Road, where our sources tell that Pressley  crashed into two cars that were stopped at the traffic light.
 
Our first source reports that the Dodge Durango Pressley was driving was totaled. We have been told that there were no other injuries. 
 
Our first source reports further that Pressley was taken to the police department.
 
A second source reports basically the same information ... that James Pressley, the President of Pleasantville Board of Education was involved in a traffic crash at around 4:30 a.m. this morning. Our second source states that Pressley crashed into the rear of a vehicle waiting for a red light, which pushed  that vehicle into another vehicle.
 
Our second source reports that Pressley was arrested and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and that his blood alcohol content level was above .08.

UPDATE (6/17/2007)

A motorist at the intersection was hit in the Pressley accident. The injured person was taken to the ACMC trauma unit and was hospitalized.  Injuries are not life threatening, but required inpatient care.
