The sign on the Trenton railroad bridge across the Delaware still says, “Trenton makes—the world takes”.   But those words are empty today—just like the words “Liberty and Prosperity”, our state motto.   How can New Jersey business compete when the NJ budget goes up by 8% each year, while the cost of living index only goes up 2.5% each year?   How we compete when our legislature is about to force every NJ business to grant 10 weeks “Paid Family Leave” EVERY YEAR to every employee who SAYS he or she must give “emotional support” to family members he/she SAYS are sick?  How can NJ business compete when our Legislature just ordered all businesses to install separate bathrooms and locker rooms for male employees who want to dress as females?

We had a very productive meeting this Tuesday morning at the Breakfast Shop in Somers Point.   Details will be posted on the website shortly.  There is important work to be done, but we can only do that work if everyone pays their $30 per year dues and helps out with at least one  project per year.   If you did not yet pay your dues, or are not yet working on a project, please contact me today so we can correct the situation.  Thanks.
