A.C. DOLPHINS TO HOST COMMUNITY APPRECIATION DAY


The Atlantic City Dolphins will host a Community Appreciation Day on Saturday, June 23, 2007 from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at Shellem Field located at Ohio & Kuehnle Ave. to express their sincere thanks to all of the members of the community who came to their assistance in the wake of the recent vandalism and theft of their property.

“From Harrah’s Entertainment which donated $25,000 to anonymous people who simply sent us $5, we are grateful to all of those who saw fit to assist us during our time of need,” said George Crouch, President of the Greater Atlantic City Youth Organization. “Through their generosity, more than 200 children will not be deprived of an opportunity to participate in the upcoming season of the Atlantic County Junior Football League.”

On hand to celebrate with the The Dolphins will be Minnesota Vikings offensive tackle, Bryant McKinnie. The public is welcome to come out and enjoy food and music to show their support for the organization.
