TRUTH, THE WHOLE TRUTH, AND, NOTHING BUT THE
... SO HELP ME
BROKEN BOARDS" ...
In what I
believe is an unprecedented move at this stage of a federal investigation
... D'Angelo has been unambiguously praised by United States Attorney
Christopher Christie as providing volunteer assistance ... D'Angelo was
never a target or subject of an investigation!
I have obtained
FIRST a letter written for United States Attorney Christopher J.
Christie by James B. Nobile, Assistant United States Attorney & Chief,
Special Prosecutions Division
COMPLETELY CONFIRMS WHAT I HAVE MAINTAINED ...
D'ANGELO'S INVOLVEMENT HAS SO OFTEN TIMES BEEN MISREPORTED BY THE MEDIA
OVER THE PAST 18 MONTHS ... I WANT TO REPEAT ... D'ANGELO IS NOT & NEVER WAS
A TARGET OR SUBJECT OF AN INVESTIGATION. FURTHER, D'ANGELO VOLUNTEERED HIS
ASSISTANCE TO THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT.
Because I felt an
absolute sense of duty and obligation to be flawlessly faithful to the
federal government and this investigation, now formally known as
"Operation Broken Boards," I was unable to reveal
certain things before now.
The reason that I know
that John D'Angelo was always a good guy in this important and highly successful
"Operation Broken Boards," is because I
introduced D'Angelo to the Federal Bureau of Investigations.
I never knew John before
he contacted me in approximately March, 2006. D'Angelo stated to me
that he listened to my radio program and that he believed that he could trust me
with certain highly sensitive information.
I agreed to meet
John. Upon reviewing certain documents in his possession ... the only
responsible thing to do was for me to introduce D'Angelo to a very
reliable, trusted and talented FBI contact of mine.
"Operation Broken Boards" was born.
There is so much that I
intend to tell you in the near future. I just need the time to sort out
everything that I have learned over the past 18-plus months versus what can
and can't be said at this time.
I wanted to write you
today for several reasons.
First, I want
to confirm how proud I am of our federal law enforcement officials for
their phenomenal results to date. FYI, I have written and filed (this morning)
a substantial column of thanks and appreciation to the
FBI, Christopher Christie and D'Angelo, which will be printed this
Wednesday throughout Atlantic and Cape May Counties in The Current & Gazette
Second, I want to share
with you excerpts of a letter that I have obtained, which contains the exact
language written by Christie &Nobile about D'Angelo as
confirms that Mr. D'Angelo initially volunteered his cooperation regarding
public corruption at the Pleasantville Board of Education and that Mr.
D'Angelo has provided assistance in that investigation as it progressed from in
or about May 2006 to the present. This further confirms that Mr. D'Angelo was
not a target or subject of an investigation and that he has not been charged
with any criminal offense."

deserves our thanks and appreciation. He chose to do what was right versus what
was convenient. He knew what was going on in Pleasantville was wrong and he
volunteered to do very difficult work on behalf of the United States
During the past
18-plus months, he was regularly referred to by the media as basically a corrupt
businessman. The local media was quite vicious in its regular attacks of
Today, you now know
the truth. D'Angelo was from the very beginning a good guy, who refused
to play the politically corrupt game which was so established in this
corrupt state that you give bribes and you get contracts in return.
D'Angelo did the right
I will share more ASAP

any ongoing criminal investigation.
